There is a lot going on here at Island Vineyard. Read on to see if there is something you might like to get involved in.
Worship Team – We have a very eclectic and fun worship team. Instruments range from electric guitars to cellos and the team ranges from teenagers to grandparents. If you have musical talent and you want to foster a heart of worship in others this is the place for you. We understand worship to be one of the few things we do now that we will continue to do in eternity. It is the heart of a vibrant faith community.
Children’s Ministry – Children of all ages are active participants in our service. We value being a multi-generational church family. Additionally, nursery is available for parents who desire it during service.
Youth Group – We have a dynamic and exciting youth group for 7th to 12th graders that meets every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:30pm. They worship, teach, and train based on our RAFT principle: “Relationships And Foundations Today”.
Ladies Coffee – The ladies of the church love each other, love their coffee, and love to combine the two. They meet every Tuesday morning at 9:30. We believe in the value of relationships and sharing life together. There is rarely enough time to get to know someone on Sunday alone. This is where friendships are started.
Munch – Men gather every Thursday at noon for a brown bag man lunch… or munch for short. Come and introduce yourself and meet the guys.
Fostering Together – We support the foster parent community of Oak Harbor by providing a facility and childcare for parents to receive continuing education and training. The group meets the third Monday of every month at 5:30pm for a shared meal followed by training.
Bunco Night – The fourth Friday of every month at 7:30pm we rally at the church for a fun filled evening playing Bunco. Its a fast paced fun game somewhat like Yahtzee. We always have tons of food, childcare, and hilarious gag prizes. Its a great evening to bring the whole family and spend the night laughing.
